A brand new trailer has been released for Kubo and the Two Strings, the latest animation from Travis Knight.
Set in Japan, this action-adventure follows kindhearted Kubo (voiced by Game of Thrones‘ Art Parkinson) who relishes in telling stories to the citizens of his seaside town. However, his everyday life is turned upside down when he unwittingly summons a spirit from the heavens that enforces an ancient vendetta. Kubo joins forces with Monkey (voiced by Charlize Theron) and Bettle (Matthew McConaughey) in a bid to save his family and solve the lost legacy of his father, the greatest samurai warrior the world has ever known.
Kubo and the Two Strings is directed by American animator Travis Knight whose previous animation works include Coraline (2009), ParaNorman (2012) and The Boxtrolls (2014). Ralph Fiennes, Rooney Mara and George Takei also lend their acting talents.
Kubo and the Two Strings is released in UK cinemas 9 September 2016
